My name is Miles Wells, I’m 18 years old and I’m on the Niner Future of Enduro team. I’ve been riding bikes my whole life but only recently have started to race enduro. I started racing when I was 13 but only did enduros here and there. Only in the past three years has enduro become my main focus. This year I will be on the brand new RIP 9 RDO. Prior to actually getting my new bike, I had been deciding between sizes and what kind of components to run. Ultimately, I decided to go with the Eagle GX 3-Star build in size large. I went with the large because I prefer a longer bike and the large smashes through sections a little better than smaller sizes. However, when my bike arrived I immediately started swapping a majority of components for my sponsors; Cane Creek Suspension, Deity Components, and Wilderness Trail Bikes. Below is a full rundown of every component on my bike.
In addition to my bike, I also use Troy Lee Designs gear. The Niner Future of Enduro Team will also be wearing Troy Lee Designs kits featuring the Skyline Shorts, Skyline Short Sleeve Jersey, and the Ruckus Streamline Jersey. In addition to our kits, I use many other Troy Lee Designs products including helmets, pads, gloves, and other kinds of protection. My full kit is listed below.
