Updated 3-27-20: Niner Bikes and COVID-19
In the face of this unprecedented global health emergency, we want to reassure all Niner riders that we're taking steps in accordance with public health guidelines from local and national agencies.
Most local Niner shops remain open for business and ready to assist your pedal-powered social distancing efforts. And here at Niner, we're answering calls and emails, and receiving and shipping goods, almost as normal but with limited staff.
As a small company, most of our prevention and preparedness actions are internal and will not affect our daily business operations. However, as a Niner rider and fan, you may notice some minor disruption.
- Employee travel has been restricted, so our dealers will experience more "virtual" visits from Niner staff.
- The Niner office has suspended visitor access along with all local Fort Collins bike demos served from our HQ.
- Until further notice, all Niner demo events and event activation presences around the country have been cancelled or postponed.
- Niner's staffing levels may fluctuate due to remote work, accommodation for employees with children home from school, and other factors. As a result, response times for warranty and customer service requests may vary.
- Internally, we're adopting all recommended measures to maintain employee health including social distance, enhanced sanitation, and remote work where practicable.
- Any employee needing medical leave due to self quarantine or illness is being granted full freedom with no pay or PTO penalty to prioritize their health and minimize spread.
Despite the challenges, Niner Bikes business remains as always:
- Ninerbikes.com is open and active for you to shop.
- RSR is managing calls and emails as best possible.
- Warranties and returns/exchanges are processed in the order they are recieved.
We hope for the safety and well-being of all during this time. Definitely go ride your bike if you get a chance! Be sure to keep the rubber side down and ride within your limits so as to not risk an ER visit and overtaxing health care professionals.
