When a bunch of mountain bikers built the RLT, our first drop bar gravel bike, it was only a matter of time before people started throwing flat bars on it. And just like that, it became another office favorite. After seeing so many Ninerds turning our drop bar bike into a flat bar, do it all bike, we thought it was only right to make this build available to everyone.
Made to go the long way around
The RLT Flat Bar is everything you need and nothing you don't. It’s your daily commuter, grocery getter, fishing hole finder, dirt road ramblin’ bike that will get you from where you need to be, to where you’d rather be.
Niner carbon fork
Niner makes the best off-road rigid forks and now we bring this experience to dirt roads everywhere. The RLT 9 Apex continues our award-winning ways with a full carbon, gravel-tuned and custom painted Niner Carbon Fork. All Niner forks and frames are tested to mountain bike safety standards, so you can rest assured that it can handle even the rowdiest trips around town.
The standard PF30 bottom bracket shell offers both geared and single speed compatibility using the new BioCentric 30. Sometimes simplicity is the key to a triumphant journey, sometimes you need a bit of help from your (granny gear) friends. We’ll leave the gearing debate up to you.
Fire road geometry
Comfort is essential for any trip around town, regardless of length. The RLT 9 Apex’s slightly longer chainstay, lower bottom bracket, and slacker headtube angle are ideal for a stable ride on and off roads.
